Prophet, Teacher, Author, and Servant of God
Apostle Ebenezer Adiyiah, affectionately called Apostle Eben, is a Ghanaian-Canadian prophet, teacher, author, and servant of God whose life has been marked by prayer, conviction, and steadfast trust in the Lord Jesus Christ. From an early age, it became clear that his life was destined for a special purpose.
At the age of eight, while growing up in Drobonso, Ghana, he began receiving visions and revelations that set him on a spiritual path of service. These encounters shaped his lifelong devotion to God and ultimately led to the founding of the New Generation True Faith Church International (NGTFCI).
Through worship, prayer, and self-denial, Apostle Eben grew into a dedicated and anointed prophetic minister of Jesus Christ. A heavenly priesthood of considerable magnitude was bestowed upon him, empowering his ministry through the divine power of the Holy Spirit. This divine calling propelled him into decades of prophetic ministry that culminated in the establishment of NGTFCI, a New Testament Christian movement that has taken root in Ghana and expanded rapidly, drawing people from diverse racial, social, and religious backgrounds into one family in Christ.
Born to Okofoni Joshua Adjei and Jochebed Oforiwaa, Ebenezer was the fourth child of Okofoni Joshua, a renowned prophet and leader in the True Faith Church who helped to rebuild the church after the first schism in 1951. His grandfather, Pastor Ebenezer Adomako Mensah, also served as General Secretary of the True Faith Church, leaving a legacy of leadership, teaching, and service.
Growing up under the spiritual guidance of his father and inspired by his grandfather's example, Ebenezer was nurtured in an atmosphere of prayer, prophecy, and faithful stewardship of the church.
He was raised in Drobonso Parish of the True Faith Church, where his early spiritual experiences prepared him for a lifetime of service. At sixteen, he received a scholarship and left his hometown to pursue secondary education. During this period, he joined Maakro Parish, where his leadership and prophetic calling quickly emerged. When the church faced division in 1987, he joined with others to establish the New Tafo (Krofofrom) Branch of the True Faith Church, becoming a pioneer and one of its founding leaders.
By that same year, Ebenezer had risen to prominence as a prophet and soon became recognized nationally for his prophetic gifts. Remarkably, he was already considered a senior prophet in his early twenties. He also served as youth president of the parish, mentoring and guiding many young believers.
Throughout this formative period, he was shaped by the guidance and fellowship of mentors such as Prophets Samuel Obeng (alias Owuso Adoto), Gideon Okyere, Prophet John Owusu Achiaw, Pastor Thomas Mensah, Pastor John Yaw Akyea, Pastor Elijah Frimpong, Pastor Emmanuel Ansong, and others whose counsel strengthened his prophetic ministry and leadership during the early years of his calling.
In the same season, he co-founded the National Students Union of the True Faith Church, serving as its first General Secretary, and helped launch Nyansa Mfitiasee Kuo, an association devoted to evangelism and prophetic ministry. Over the years, he served in key leadership roles, including deputy secretary of the National Prophetic Leaders (1993–2001) and secretary of the Kumasi Prophetic Committee.
His contributions went beyond the pulpit; between 1985 and 1993, he helped organize the church's National Soccer Competitions and played a vital role in strengthening the National Women's Fellowship, nurturing many young women to remain steadfast in their faith.
Before traveling abroad, Apostle Eben also played a significant role in planting and strengthening churches in Ghana, including congregations in Nkawie, Fufuo–Barekese, and Bonwire in the Ashanti Region, as well as Tarkwa Asuoso in the Western Region and Pokuasi–Accra in the Greater Accra Region.

He graduated from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) in 2000 and completed Clinical Research training at the Kriger Institute in Toronto in 2005. He later advanced his studies at the University of Toronto, earning a Bachelor of Medical Radiation Sciences from the Faculty of Medicine, and trained at the Michener Institute of Education at UHN as a Medical Radiation Technologist, graduating in 2007.
He also holds a Diploma in Theology (Home Bible Studies) from Liberty University. He is currently completing a Doctor of Health Administration (Leadership and Policy Analysis) at D'Youville University, USA.
Professionally, he has served with distinction in healthcare. From 2007 to 2022, he worked as a registered medical radiation technologist and Advanced Practice Coordinator in the Diagnostic Imaging Department at Brampton Civic Hospital, Ontario. He also served as a director and board member of the College of Medical Radiation and Imaging Technologists of Ontario (CMRITO), the regulatory body for medical imaging professionals in Ontario.
He now works as director of Eben Consulting Services, providing healthcare consulting and professional services across hospitals in Canada. His medical career, marked by compassion and precision, complements his pastoral and prophetic ministry, equipping him to minister to both the spiritual and physical needs of God's people.
In 2001, prophecy was fulfilled when Apostle Eben traveled to Canada. Soon after, he co-founded the True Faith Church International (TFCI), Canada, in collaboration with Apostle Moses Doffour, and helped establish the North America True Faith Church Committee, where he served as chief scribe.
His vision for global expansion led him to propose renaming the "True Faith Church of Ghana" to "True Faith Church International" to unify both local and international branches. Though this proposal was not adopted in Ghana, the Canadian branch maintained the international name.
He also helped coordinate churches across North America, including congregations in New York, Ohio, Michigan (Detroit), and Virginia. He organized corporate prayers, retreats, and special services, strengthening believers in unity and commitment. In Ghana, he contributed to the establishment of the National Women's Fellowship, later renamed the Ebenezer True Faith Church International Women's Fellowship in his honour.
Following the division of the True Faith Church in 2015, Apostle Eben acted as a peace ambassador, writing letters and initiating dialogue to reconcile the two main factions. Although full unity was not achieved, his efforts reflected his lifelong commitment to biblical reconciliation and peace.
In 2015, Apostle Eben co-founded the New Generation True Faith Church International (NGTFCI, also known as International) and became its first General Secretary. His leadership helped reform unbiblical practices that hindered growth and drew many back to Christ.
Under his guidance, the church expanded from four branches to forty within three years. At present, he serves as the General Overseer, charged with shepherding the flock, building unity across the Brako Faith tradition, and advancing the church's mission of evangelism and discipleship.
Beyond ministry and professional service, Apostle Eben is also an author whose writings reflect his passion for faith, unity, and leadership.

Whether in the pulpit, the classroom, the hospital, or the quiet place of prayer, Apostle Eben continues to serve faithfully, guided by the Holy Spirit and strengthened by the grace of God.
